One of the questions I get asked the most is "what is the right song for our dances?"

To be honest there is no right or wrong. It is your day and you should be able to choose whatever song you would like for the dances and events happening.

However I hear from many couples that they just can't decide on the "right" song for the dance, especially the couples first dance.

I like to suggest that you both take some time and make sure you can be uninterrupted, make this a special time for you maybe have some wine or whatever your favorite beverage is and really listen to songs. If you know what "your" song is you are ahead of the game. If not come up with a few songs that you can listen to again to try and decide.

This should not be a hectic or troubling decision. What song describes you? What song makes you think of your soon to be when you hear it?

If you come up with a couple different songs that is fine. Keep in mind you can always do another special dance later for just the two of you to enjoy that song as well.
